Position Description

Join our team in Riverhead, NY as an LPN to support pharmacy operations, assisting the pharmacist in various tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Evening
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Assisting the pharmacist with dispensing medications, including retrieving from stock, counting dosage units, and packaging and labeling prescriptions
Receiving, unpacking, and storing pharmaceutical and medical supplies
Maintaining inventory records and assisting with requisitions
Conducting inventory counts and discarding expired medications
Monitoring and restocking medication supplies on JMU floors and Pyxis machines
Cleaning and organizing pharmacy and storage areas

Qualifications:

Active LPN license
Ability to work independently in a structured environment
Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred
Attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask
Reliable and punctual

Desired Skills:

1+ years of experience in a related role
Familiarity with pharmacy inventory systems
Proficiency in basic computer applications
Team-oriented attitude
